 Mumbai has'moderate' air quality, while Delhi's AQI is at 303


AQI LIVE News: Every day, the air quality in Delhi and Mumbai becomes worse. Yesterday, the national capital's total air quality index fell to the "very poor" level. According to SAFAR statistics at 6:30 am, the national capital's overall air quality is now still considered to be "very poor," with an AQI of 303. With an AQI of 127, the current air quality in Mumbai is classified as "moderate." In order to combat the deteriorating air quality, BMC has also announced a number of steps. Meanwhile, Delhi has implemented GRAP-II, and its environment minister, Gopal Rai, will today preside over a meeting of authorities. An AQI of 0 to 50 is regarded as "good," 51 to 100 as "satisfactory," 101 to 200 as "moderate," 201-300 as "poor," 301 to 400 as "very poor," and 401 to 500 as "severe." "Severe plus" conditions are those with an AQI of 500 or above.


BMC adopts efforts to reduce air pollution, including anti-smog guns and a 35-foot iron sheet.

The following are some of the measures taken by the BMC to reduce air pollution in Mumbai: -Installation of sprinkler systems in construction sites within 15 days, along with anti-smog machines throughout 30 days; -Mandatory installation of 35-foot iron sheet buildings on all construction sites; -Installation of privately owned air quality measuring devices and monitoring devices on construction sites.
