LPG Cylinder Cost: Learn how to save ₹300 on each LPG cylinder

We would like to notify you that the government raised the LPG subsidy according to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) by Rs 100 a few weeks prior. As a result, the recipients' total subsidy increased to Rs 300.

The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) recipients would get an extra subsidy of Rs 100 on LPG cylinders, as announced recently by the Central Government. The subsidy relief has therefore increased to Rs 300. In addition, the government has said that the program would add 75 lakh additional connections.

According to Pankaj Jain, secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the demand for LPG would not change in the near future. "A new generation of LPG users is really coming in first when it comes to converting from LPG to PNG. PNG and LPG are both expanding, according to Pankaj Jain.

Issues with PNG: According to the Secretary, a sizable consumer base would be necessary for PNG to be used as a major fuel. Jain said that given PNG's geographic position, there are several areas where the nation struggles. The nation still has a great deal of communities with less than 200 dwellings. PNG may not be practical in some areas.

Relief up to Rs 300: As you may recall, the government raised the cooking gas (LPG) subsidy according to the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) by Rs 100 a few days ago. Following this increase, the Ujjwala initiative is now offering a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder. This action will assist almost 9 crore households. The government is acting in this way to incentivize users of the Ujjwala program.
