Live updates for the Gaganyaan mission launch today: The timer starts! ISRO is about to launch the first astronaut mission's test flight

Launch of the Gaganyaan Mission Today Regular Updates: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is prepared to take the first step toward the Gaganyaan mission, India's ambitious effort to send people to space, on Saturday after the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and the launch of Aditya L-1.

Today at 8:00 am, ISRO will conduct an unmanned flight test to evaluate the safety of astronauts for upcoming human spaceflight missions. On Saturday, ISRO will try to launch its Test Vehicle - Demonstration (TV-D1), a single-stage liquid-fueled rocket.

At eight in the morning, a single-stage liquid-propulsion rocket outfitted with a Crew Module and Crew Escape System will launch from the spaceport's first launch pad.

The vehicle's test launch will serve as a benchmark for the Gaganyaan mission's development. In 2025, the space program hopes to launch people into a 400 km Low Earth Orbit for a three-day expedition before returning them safely to the planet.
