Live event planners prepare for the busy holiday season

Live event planners anticipate a busy holiday season with a program of musical performances, artist tours, food and beverage festivals, theater, comedic events, and sporting events. Through New Year's, a number of events are planned, including NH7 Weekender and appearances by Ronan Keating and Kerala Dust. After the boom of last year, there has been a continuous increase in purchasing habits across all categories, which have fared better this year than in previous years. After the pandemic, we've also noticed an increase in demand among residents of tier-II and tier-III cities. Varun Khare, business head of Paytm Insider, observed a steady increase in demand for live experiences as we entered the holiday season, with sports remaining a perennial favorite. According to Khare, the platform's ticket sales have surged by 84% and the number of new users has increased by about 90% as compared to the pre-covid period between January 2019 and January 2020.
The site is preparing for Navratri and other celebrations in addition to sports, and its event listings have increased significantly from the previous year. Several events are scheduled for Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, and other cities, especially in the west area.
