Israel-Palestine Conflict: US and allies pledge "united support" for Israel, saying there is "no justification for terrorism." Read this

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of the United Kingdom, President Joe Biden of the United States, President Macron of France, German Chancellor Scholz, and Prime Minister Meloni of Italy released a joint statement on Tuesday in support of Israel, which has been targeted by the Hamas organization and has already claimed over 1,000 lives.

"Today, we — President Macron of the nation of France, Chancellor Scholz of Germany, which was Prime Minister Meloni regarding Italy, Prime Minister Sunak of the United Kingdom, along with President Biden of the United States of America — express our steadfast and united encourage to the State of Israel, and our unequivocal disapproval of Hamas and its appalling acts of terrorist activity," read the statement.

They claimed that there is "no justification, no legitimacy" for the violent activities of Hamas and that they need to be universally condemned.

The leaders of the world said: "Recently, the world has watched in horror as Hamas terrorists massacred families in their homes, killed over 200 young people attending a music festival, and kidnapped elderly women, children, and entire families who are now being held as hostages."

They added that this is not the time for anyone who is unfriendly to Israel to take advantage of these attacks to their own ends and that these nations will back Israel in its attempts to defend itself and its citizens from such atrocities.

"We all advocate equal justice and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike and acknowledge the justifiable aspirations of the Palestinian people. But make no mistake, Hamas does not represent these goals and provides the Palestinian people with anything but more terror and suffering, according to the statement.

The senior leaders pledged to maintain their coordination and unity while working as Israel's allies and friends to ensure that Israel can defend itself and create the conditions for peace in the Middle East.

More than 5,000 rockets were fired by Hamas forces from the Gaza Strip at Israel on Saturday, resulting in at least 1,100 fatalities and numerous injuries. The attack also activated air raid sirens across the nation and increased the probability of further intense conflict.

As Palestinians prepare to "live another Nakba," Israel has announced a complete control of Gaza and imposed a comprehensive embargo on the territory. The Hamas organization is now prepared for conversations over a cease-fire with Israel, according to a senior leader.
