Israel-Hamas Conflict Live Updates: Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City, where many wounded people and other Palestinians were finding sanctuary on Tuesday, was shaken by a huge explosion.


The Health Ministry, which is governed by Hamas, claims that hundreds of people died. While the Israeli military blamed a missile that Palestinian militants had accidentally discharged, Hamas said the event was the result of an Israeli attack.

At least 14 people were reportedly killed as a consequence of Israeli airstrikes on Ismail Haniyeh's home in Gaza City, the organization's top political official. Although his family lives in Gaza City, Ismail Haniyeh is largely based in Doha, Qatar. The names of the victims were not immediately released by the Hamas media office.
