Live Cyclone Tej updates: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyclone "Tej," which is developing over the Arabian Sea, is predicted to become a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (VSCS) by midday on Sunday. "VSCS (very severe cyclonic storm) Tej was centered over the southwest Arabian Sea around 2330 IST on October 21. It was located approximately 330 km east of Socotra, 720 km southeast of Al Ghaidah, and 690 km southeast of Salalah. Very likely to become an Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm in the morning of October 22nd, the IMD wrote on its X account.In the early hours of October 25, the storm over the Arabian Sea is predicted to pass between Salalah (Oman) and Al Ghaidah (Yemen). The IMD said that throughout the course of the next 24 hours, it was likely to worsen into a profound depression.
