Here's how to sign up for SBI Internet Banking without going to a bank branch
Customers of the State Bank of India (SBI) have the option to sign up online for Internet Banking. Here's how to go about it.
Customers of SBI who have at least one account are eligible to register online for Internet banking.
Customers had to go to the bank's branch in order to use the Net banking service in the past.
If you don't have an ATM card, the branch will need to enable your Internet banking services.
The State Bank of India (SBI) offers its customers the opportunity to register online from the comfort of their homes if they don't have the time to go to a bank's branch or wait in long lines to use the Internet banking service.
Customers previously had to visit a bank branch to activate the Net banking service by filling out a form and submitting supporting documentation.

How to sign up with SBI Internet Banking online:
Step 1: Open the 'Personal banking area' link on the home page of the SBI website.
2nd Step: Click the 'New User Registration' option. The registration process can then be continued by clicking "Next."
Step 3: The CIF number and branch code, which can be found in the passbook or account statement, must be entered.
Step 4: Choose the nation and type the mobile number that has been registered with the branch.
Step 5: At this point, you can decide whether you want Full or Limited Transaction Rights or View Rights for the Internet Banking service.
Step 6: Complete the captcha and click "Submit."
Step 7: If you have an ATM card, choose that option and press the "Submit" button. You can finish the registration process and turn on Internet banking for your account in this manner.
Step 8: The branch will activate Internet banking services if you don't have an ATM card.
Step 9: The customer will then be forwarded to the page for validating debit cards and asked to do so. Enter your card information, then select "Proceed."
Step 10: You must generate a username and a password for your login. 'Submit' should be clicked.
This process will result in a successful registration for you.
The consumer is recommended to connect in to Internet banking services using the permanent username and password once registration is finished and successful.
