Groups supporting pro-Palestine demonstrations received approximately $15 million in funding from George Soros

Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, who called Prime Minister Narendra Modi "no democrat" early this year, has been funding pro-Palestine protestors with more than $15 million over the last seven years.

A examination of Open Society Foundations documents, as reported by the New York Post, reveals that $13.7 million of the funds were given by Soros' grant-making network via Tides Center, a left-wing organization that has supported a number of organizations that have defended Hamas's violent assault. Open Society Foundations, which awards funding to organizations and people that support democracy, openness, and free expression, was founded by Soros.

Adalah Justice Project, one of the Tides' recipients, shared a picture on Instagram on October 7, the day before Hamas attacked Israel. The message said, "Israeli colonists thought they could imprison two million people in an open-air facility for all time. No cage remains unopposed.

Additionally, on October 20, members of Adalah co-sponsored a gathering during which antisemitic slogans were heard.

According to a New York Post investigation, Jewish Voice for Peace and If Not Now are two more Soros-backed Palestinian advocacy organizations whose members have been planning protests. They got $650,000 and $400,000, respectively.

According to Dan Schneider, vice president of the conservative watchdog organization Media Research Center, Soros is a Holocaust survivor who was born into the Jewish community in Hungary. He has a lengthy record of opposing Israel and supporting organizations that support terrorism.

Schneider said, "George Soros plus his son Alex have a long history backing the most radical organizations worldwide, including organizations that support Hamas."

The Central government of India, headed by Prime Minister Modi, has consistently criticized Soros. The 92-year-old is accused by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of wanting to "destroy" Indian democracy and choose a few "hand-picked" individuals to lead the country.

He has criticized both former US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, much like Modi. Speaking at a 2020 World Economic Forum (WEF) event in Davos, Soros attacked the Modi administration, claiming that nationalism was gaining momentum and that India was experiencing the "biggest setback" of all.
