According to the bank, pensioners may now submit their life certificates via video.

For this, UCO Bank has released the UCO mPassbook App. This app may be downloaded by pensioners from the Google Play Store. Pensioners may use their cellphone number and UCO Bank account number to log in after installing the app. According to the bank, users who are older than 60 may use this app to submit their life certificate. in order to avoid having to visit the bank.


Simple procedure for SBI pensioners as well


Pensioners may visit any government office or the closest CSC center, bank branch, or other location, according to SBI. Location information is available on jeevanpramaan.gov.in under the Locate Center section. The most crucial factor is that because Aadhaar is the basis for the whole procedure, the digital life certificate that the pensioners provide can only be approved if their accounts are connected to their Aadhaar numbers.


Pensioners from SBI have the option to submit their life certificate via video call. Pensioners must first visit https://www.pensionseva.sbi/, the website for SBI's pension service. The next step is for pensioners to click on Video LC to begin the procedure. You must provide your SBI account number in the third step. Your registered cellphone number will then get an OTP, which you must input.


You will then get information on the terms and conditions.


You then need to choose Start trip. To access the 'I am ready' button, you need to use the actual passport. After that, you'll need to provide your phone access to its camera and microphone. You will then speak with an SBI bank representative. The four-digit verification code must be entered from your mobile device's screen. The officer will next need you to provide your PAN card. After the officer takes your picture, the procedure is over.
