The amount of money required to meet one's most basic necessities, such as food, water, housing, taxes, cost of commuting, and healthcare, etc., is known as the cost of living. Cost of living: September's CPI inflation reading is anticipated to be lower.

According to a Reuters poll, retail inflation in India may have reduced to 5.50 percent in the previous month, which is within the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) allowed range. This is probably due to a pause in food price increases and government subsidies that offset the increase in crude oil prices, it was said.
