Employee DA Hike: Pensioners, take note! There will be a 4% rise in DA, an order will be issued, and your income will increase in your account this month

Update on the DA Hike: The Union Cabinet also declared that railroad workers will get a 78-day bonus. In a same vein, Yogi government will include a Diwali bonus in this month's paycheck for every employee.

DA Hike: The Tamil Nadu government also broke good news to retired officials and workers before to Diwali. MK Stalin, the chief minister, declared a four percent rise in DA for public servants. This DA increase will go into effect on July 1, 2023. The decision made by the administration would benefit almost 16 lakh state government workers, teachers, and pensioners. The government would bear an extra cost of Rs 2,546.16 crore annually as a result of this move.

To 46 percent, DA rose

Starting on July 1, CM Stalin has mandated raising the DA from the present 42 percent to 46 percent. The Yogi and Central governments of Uttar Pradesh have already announced plans to raise employee DA. Additionally, the Union Cabinet has declared that railroad workers would get a 78-day bonus. In a same vein, Yogi government will include a Diwali bonus in this month's paycheck for every employee.

The DA/DR of over 49 lakh federal workers and retirees has been raised to 46% by the Modi administration at the Center. This move would also help over 65 lakh seniors. A few days after the government made this decision, the Railway Board similarly declared a 4% rise in DA.
