Day 15 of Israel-Hamas. IMMEDIATE UPDATE Israel fires a missile onto a mosque in Jenin, killing two

15th day of the Israel-Hamas conflict LIVE updates: Early on Sunday, Israel launched airstrikes into southern Gaza and said it will step up its assault on the northern part of the territory. Israel carried out an airstrike on a mosque in Jenin, West Bank, today, killing "terrorist operatives" from Islamic Jihad and Hamas.

After Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari urged Gazans to flee south of the border, the nocturnal attacks took place.

After the cross-border raid on southern Israel on October 7 by militants of the Islamist organization Hamas, which resulted in the death of 1,400 people, mostly civilians, in a shocking rampage that scarred Israel, Israel began its "total siege" of Gaza.

Gaza's Health Ministry said on Saturday that more than a million residents of the region had been displaced as a result of Israel's retaliatory air and missile assaults, which have killed at least 4,385 Palestinians, including hundreds of children.

Donor pressure on US private institutions to back Israel

Rich Americans have threatened to stop giving to renowned private institutions like the University of Pennsylvania or the Ivy League's Harvard University in Massachusetts if they continue to assist the Palestinians.

The Kennedy School at Harvard University's collaboration with the Wexner Foundation, which aims to develop young Jewish leaders in North America and Israel, has come to an end.

The Wexner family, who founded Bath & Body Works, officially cut their connections to the university, citing what it termed the "dismal failure of Harvard's authorities to take a clear and unambiguous stand against the barbaric murders of innocent Israeli civilians by terrorists."
