On Friday, October 27, Bank of Baroda (BoB) introduced the Bob Lite Savings Account, a unique savings option. This account is unique in that it is a savings account with a lifelong zero balance.


This was launched by the bank as part of "BoB Ke Sang Utsav Ki Umang," a holiday celebration. This account does not require you to have a minimum balance. In response to consumer requests, this account now has a few more features. Under this, by keeping a little amount on a quarterly basis, one may get a lifetime free RuPay Platinum Debit Card. In addition, some account holders are eligible for a lifetime free credit card.


Unique attributes of the Bob Lite Savings Account


This account has no balance. It may be opened by anybody older than ten. On the other hand, if an account user is between the ages of 10 and 14, the maximum amount that may be left in the account at any one time should not be more than Rs 10,000. You must have a quarterly balance sheet of Rs 3000 in metro regions, Rs 2000 in semi-urban areas, and Rs 1000 in rural areas if you want to use the Free RuPay Platinum Debit Card. An annual penalty will be incurred if this balance is not kept up to date. 30 complimentary check leaves are granted to you every fiscal year.
