Bangkok shooting; 14-year-old detained in connection with Siam Paragon mall shooting
According to authorities, a teenager was detained in Thailand after shots were allegedly fired at a high-end mall in the heart of Bangkok.
Initial reports suggest three people have been hurt, and they claimed the perpetrator was armed with a revolver.
Social media footage from earlier showed customers leaving the center in a rush.
Both the center and the adjoining Siam metro station were shut down. Additionally, videos that appeared to be shot inside the mall have been released online.
Four loud noises that resemble gunshots can be clearly heard in the crowded building in one video.
Online accounts from witnesses claimed that people had started hiding in stores and restrooms.
