Assembly Elections 2023: Rahul Gandhi blasts Telangana's KCR government, calling it the nation's most corrupt

Telangana Assembly Elections 2023: Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, criticized the K Chandrashekar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) administration in Telangana and dubbed it the nation's most corrupt organization.

During the "Vijayabheri Yatra," Gandhi spoke to Congress members and told them, "When you dreamt of Telangana state, you assumed people's rule would come in the state. But it is now obvious that Telangana is being ruled by a single family. Telangana state has the greatest level of corruption in the nation and is entirely controlled by a single family.

Rahul further claimed that the BJP, BRS, and AIMIM have formed a covert coalition to oppose the Congress in Telangana.

Rahul Gandhi of the Congress said, "Take a look at BJP-BRS-AIMIM, these three factions attack the Congress party."

In addition, he predicted that K Chandrashekar Rao will lose the state's next Assembly election. Telangana's 119 Assembly seats will be up for election on November 30, and results will be tallied on December 3.

Returning to Rahul Gandhi, he said, "KCR will lose this election. Between Raja and Praja (the populace) is this election. You had a dream about a Telangana under popular power. However, during the last 10 years, people's distance from KCR has grown.

Rahul Gandhi began a three-day tour to Telangana as part of the Congress' electoral campaign in the state ahead of the November 30 assembly elections. K Chandrasekhar Rao, the head of BRS and the Telangana chief minister, made a surprising statement earlier on Monday that he will be running for two seats in the next elections. KCR made the decision to run in the forthcoming assembly election in the Kamareddy district as well. The Telangana chief minister represents or runs for office in the Siddipet district's Gajwel assembly seat. For 115 of the 119 available assembly seats, the party declared its candidates in August of this year.

In the meanwhile, the state's forthcoming assembly election is expected to feature a triangular struggle between the BJP, the currently-reigning Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the Congress.

Regarding the election results from last year, BRS won 88 of the 119 seats up for grabs and commanded a commanding 47.4% of the vote. With 19 members, Congress finished in a distant second. It received 28.7% of the vote.
