Netflix and Amazon Prime are online video streaming services. Bharat Hain Hum, an animated series on India's independence heroes, will make its debut on Doordarshan as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav festivities on October 15. The 26-episode first season will include an 11-minute animated story and will highlight unsung heroes like Rani Abbakka, Tilka Manjhi, Tirot Singh, Peer Ali, Tatya Tope, Kotwal Dhan Singh, Kunwar Singh Rani Chennamma, Tikendra Jeet Singh, and others.

On October 15, the series will make its debut on Doordarshan, Prime Video, and Netflix in 12 Indian and 7 other languages. It was created by Graphiti Studio and the Central Bureau of Communication.

In order to honor their incredible efforts and to encourage the children and young people of India to be proud of their history, we decided to resurrect these stories of patriotism and the fight for independence. The series' creators, Munjal Shroff and Tilak Shetty, said in a statement that animation is the ideal medium to bring these magnificent stories to life and make them accessible to the youngsters of our nation.

Customers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and more than 100 other countries will be able to see the program and its characters on Prime Video, according to Sushant Sreeram, country director for Prime Video in India. Sreeram said in an email, "We are glad to take that commitment further via the animated series." "Showcasing local stories that highlight Indian culture and history, forms one of the key tenets outlined in the Letter of Engagement involving Amazon and MIB, announced earlier this year."
