According to ANI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today gave the National Security Guard (NSG) and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) instructions to begin an investigation into the explosion that happened at a convention center, leaving one person dead and over 20 wounded.

Investigation and activities related to counterterrorism are the areas of expertise for these two Central agencies. The heads of the NIA and NSG were directed by the Home Minister to send specialized teams to the location to conduct an inquiry into the occurrence.
