In 1989, Gill worked to save 64 people at Raniganj's Mahavir Colliery. In the movie, Akshay Kumar will portray the part of Jaswant Singh.


The movie's title was altered multiple times

Capsule Gill was the original title of the movie. The Great Indian Rescue was eventually chosen as the new name. After the India-India disagreement, the movie's name has once more been altered. Mission Raniganj-The Great Bharat Rescue will be the title under which the movie is now set to be released.


Sanjay has performed on stage for 35 years

Based on his acting, Sanjay Bhardwaj relocated from Dhanbad to Bollywood. have 35 years of experience performing on stages. have staged plays and street performances in 15 Indian states.


In addition, Bhardwaj has won prizes for his work as a playwright, actor, and co-actor. Mission Raniganj's screenplay was written five years ago in Putki by the late Jaswant Singh Gill, Deepak Kingrani, and Tinu Suresh Desai.


The speech in the movie has also been translated into the regional tongue by Bhardwaj. In the movie, some 50 artists from Putki and the surrounding area will display their talent.


Jaswant Gill studied at the IIT

Jaswant Singh Gill attended IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, as a member of the 1965 class. In 1991, the Indian government presented him with the Best Life Saving Medal.


He left his position as ED Safety and Rescue at BCCL Dhanbad in 1998 after finishing his employment there. A street in Amritsar, Punjab, was only named after Jaswant Gill last year.


Jaswant Singh Gill will get the Industrial Safety Award, according to IIT (ISM) announcement. From BCCL Dhanbad's rescue station, he had retired. He moved his family to Amritsar in Punjab after retiring. He passed away here in 2019.
