Here's everything you need to know about Jio's launch of AirFiber in 8 cities

Jio today introduced AirFiber, a wireless internet service that connects people in remote locations to the internet using the company's 5G networks.

Today, Reliance introduced Jio AirFiber, an internet service that transmits data at speeds comparable to broadband. By providing internet access in places where it is challenging to lay down optical fibres, the wireless internet service will aid Jio in overcoming the difficulties of last-mile connection.

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune are the 8 cities where Jio AirFiber is currently offered.

In addition to providing internet in remote locations, JioFiber will also give customers free access to more than 16 OTT apps, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, JioCinema, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, Universal+, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, Docubay, and EpicOn. JioFiber will also offer more than 550 digital TV channels in HD. Additionally, the business is providing a voice remote, a 4k Smart Set Top Box, and a Wi-Fi router at no extra cost.

The cheapest Jio AirFiber package costs Rs 599 per month, includes access to 14 OTT apps, and has a top speed of 30 Mbps. Check out the Rs 899 plan, which has the same advantages but provides unlimited data at 100Mbps, if you'd like greater speed.

The Rs 1,199 gives unlimited bandwidth at 100Mbps and access to 550+ channels for those who desire Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium.

Jio now offers AirFiber Max subscriptions for heavy users, which include access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium in addition to 550+ channels and 14 OTT apps.

The most affordable Jio AirFiber Max plan is available for Rs 1,499 per month and gives unlimited bandwidth at 300 Mbps, while the Rs 2,499 and Rs 3,999 plans have maximum speeds of 500 Mbps and 1000 Mbps, respectively. However, just a few locations offer these options.

You can give a missed call on 60008-60008, visit the Jio website, or travel to the closest Jio store to get a Jio FiberAir connection. The cost to install an outside unit on your terrace or outside your house, according to the company, would be Rs 1,000; however, if you choose an annual plan, the cost is waived.
