Costco and healthcare startup Sesame launched a partnership on Monday to provide healthcare consultations to members of the wholesale retailer for as little as $29 per visit.




Sesame, a healthcare marketplace established in 2018, links individuals with outpatient providers who provide upfront pricing and cost-effective healthcare services without the need for insurance.


Sesame will provide virtual visits to the primary care physician for $29, health checks (which include a standard lab panel and on the internet follow-up consultation provided by the provider) for $72, virtual mental health therapy for $79, alongside a 10% discount on all other Sesame seed services, including in-person appointments. by means of the partnership.


Sesame co-founder and CEO David Goldhill stressed the two brands' compatibility.


The Costco brand is renowned for its "quality, great value, and low price," according to Goldhill in the press release. Sesame also provides high-quality and excellent value in healthcare.

The big retailer Costco wasn't the first to enter the healthcare market.
