Mumbai Sion Railway Station Incident: In a tense altercation at Mumbai's Sion station, a guy struck another person severely. He was trampled under the train as a result of falling onto the tracks. Dinesh Rathod, an employee of MSRTC, was found dead. Avinash Mane, a 31-year-old man from Dharavi, has been named as the suspected attacker. On Sunday, the event was disclosed. The accused's wife Sheetal (30) has also been taken into custody in this matter.

In truth, a guy and a station staff got into a violent dispute, and after that, the man punched the employee hard, causing him to fall to the tracks and get hit by the train. Dinesh Rathod, an employee of MSRTC, was found dead. Avinash Mane, a 31-year-old man from Dharavi, has been named as the suspected attacker. On Sunday, the event was disclosed. The accused's wife Sheetal (30) has also been taken into custody in this matter.


A GRP representative said that Sheetal Mane and an MSRTC employee had a disagreement when she arrived at the station. Avinash Mane, Sheetal's husband, arrived outside at this time to assess the situation and noticed that Rathore was acting inappropriately towards his wife.


Following this, Rathore and Mane got into a heated debate that eventually turned physical. Rathod was struck by Mane during this. The MSRTC employee reportedly lost his balance after being punched and fell on the track, landing under the running suburban train, according to the GRP official.


On the basis of evidence from witnesses and station CCTV video, the police have taken Avinash Mane into custody in the Dharavi neighbourhood. Later, the police also apprehended Sheetal, Mane's wife. The pair has been arrested and is being further investigated under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
