The Railways have begun using the Human Resource Management System (HRMS). This method will eliminate the need for written leave requests from railway personnel.

The Railways have now made the decision to abolish this centuries-old custom. The Railways have launched an app for this. Anil Kumar Lahoti, chairman of the railway board, announced that the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) has begun.




The HRSS system will no longer need railway personnel to submit written leave requests. He may now apply online, and he will also be able to get leave permission online. The railway staff would receive comprehensive information online under this method.


On August 1, the new procedure went into effect

Details about the employee's name, title, PF number, bill, unit, and family will need to be input into the HRSS system. In addition, details on the transfer, promotion, and any honours the railway employee has received will be disclosed. He'll also have his military history available. This method of requesting a leave of absence is in effect as of August 1.


A custom dating back 100 years has ended

The HRSS technology will ensure openness throughout the whole leave-taking procedure. Employees of the railway will also receive training on the new system. For a very long period, the police won't be able to stop the leave application. If the leave is declined, the rejection reason must also be stated online. Railway workers have been requesting leave by phone or in paper for the past 100 years.
