Mutki Devi, 58, lost her life after being attacked by a wild elephant on Monday in Chotka Jata in Ranchi's Karra neighbourhood. According to the evidence we have, Mutki Devi was about to uproot the paddy seed in two fields at 4 am on Monday when a wild elephant picked her up and flung her, killing Mutki Devi instantly.

According to the information that was given, Mutki Devi planned to uproot paddy on Monday morning at four o'clock. That is how Mutki Devi, who was 50 feet from the home, came face to face with a wild elephant.


Mutki Devi was killed instantly as the wild elephant picked her up and flung her on the ground. In his journey to the jungle, the wild elephant travelled across a field.


The wife's spouse received aid from the forest service.

The authorities from the forest department arrived in the village and asked about the occurrence after learning about it. Additionally, Jogendra Mahato, the dead woman's husband, received urgent aid in the sum of Rs. 10,000.


The paperwork needed to pay out compensation to the woman's family members is being finished. To keep the locals safe from wild animals, forest officials also gave them crackers.


The deceased person's body was given to the relatives following a postmortem.

After conducting a post-mortem, the Karra police removed the deceased person's body from the scene and gave it to the family members. Mutpa, a wild elephant that escaped from the Bedo range late on Monday night, arrived in Chotka Chhata village via Guyu village, which had been pursued to the Bedo range, according to forester Amar Swansi.
