 Ranchi Land Scam: Vishnu Agarwal's wife missed her initial summons to the ED office; a second summons may be forthcoming


Anushree Agarwal, the wife of Vishnu Agarwal, did not show up on Saturday for a hearing with the ED looking into the Ranchi land scam money laundering case. The ED called Anushree in to be questioned. She didn't get through to the ED office and hasn't written them a letter about it either. Anushree Agarwal may shortly receive another summons from ED.


Anushree Agarwal, the wife of Vishnu Agarwal, did not show up on Saturday to testify before the ED investigating the case of money laundering related to the land scandal in Ranchi




The ED called Anushree in to be questioned. She didn't get through to the ED office and hasn't written them a letter about it either. It is already becoming clear that Anushree Agarwal would be issued another summons by the ED very shortly.


In relation to the fraudulent sale and acquisition of one acre of land on Cheshire Home Road, Anushree Aggarwal will be questioned. This one-acre plot of property was purchased using two deeds, one of which was created in Vishnu Agarwal's name and the other in Anushree Agarwal's name.


There will be an investigation into the act

Anushree Aggarwal is being contacted by the ED for information on her action. It wants to know whose as well. It has emerged from the ED's preliminary inquiry that Rajesh Rai previously granted Imtiaz Ahmed and Bharat Prasad power of attorney by creating fictitious paperwork for one acre of land on Cheshire Home Road.


Following this, on February 6, 2021, they both registered the aforementioned land to Puneet Bhargava. Puneet Bhargava allegedly paid one crore 78 lakh 55 thousand 800 rupees in exchange for this in the deed.


Investigation by the ED found

According to a probe by the ED, Puneet Bhargava only claimed to have received Rs 25 lakh from the account of his business, Shiva Fabcon. In the deed, the remaining sum has been incorrectly indicated. On April 1, 2021, barely two months after buying the land, Puneet Bhargava sold it to Vishnu Agarwal and Anushree Agarwal using two sale deeds.


On one act, one crore two lakh sixty thousand rupees and on another, 77 lakh forty thousand rupees were paid.


Puneet Bhargava moved Rs 1 crore to the account of Prem Prakash's business, Gemini Enterprises, shortly after the registration.
