Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren appeared in court defying an ED summons and charged the Centre with attempting to topple the state administration

Chief Minister Hemant Soren failed to appear on Thursday, despite receiving the ED's second summons. He informed the ED in a letter that he had challenged the ED's power before the Supreme Court through an employee of the CMO. He hasn't provided the ED with any paperwork, though, about the court-filed petition. The probability exists right now that the Chief Minister will shortly get a third summons from the ED.

Even after receiving a second summons from the ED, Chief Minister Hemant Soren did not arrive in Ranchi on Thursday. He informed the ED in a letter that he had challenged the ED's power before the Supreme Court through an employee of the CMO.

He hasn't provided the ED with any paperwork on the Supreme Court petition, nevertheless. The likelihood that the ED will shortly call the Chief Minister for a third time has increased.

Accused of working on the Center's instructions

The Chief Minister claimed in a letter to the ED that she is carrying out orders from the Central Government. ED is working to topple the democratically elected state administration by issuing summonses.

The Chief Minister claims that the ED has called him in an effort to harm not just his character but also the reputation of the state of Jharkhand and its residents.

Since last year, he has been the focus of attacks. That's just because he belongs to a party that isn't in charge in the centre, too.

The Chief Minister, who was speaking directly to the ED, said that the ED had previously attempted to link him to the illegal mining case and was now attempting to do so with the land fraud. He also provided the ED with information on all of his moveable and immovable assets.

13 people have been accused thus far of the land fraud

13 suspects have already been jailed by the ED, which is looking into money laundering in the land fraud case.

They included Saddam Hussain, Imtiaz Ahmed, Talha Khan, Fayaz Khan, Bhanu Pratap Prasad, Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Amit Agarwal, Bharat Prasad, and Rajesh Rai in addition to the previous deputy commissioner of Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan. Are.
