There will be a rise in the salary allowance and pension for Jharkhand's 82 MLAs (including one nominee). In addition, the state government would give previous assembly speakers access to facilities. The proposal will then be stamped. The current monthly salary for MLAs is up to Rs 2 lakh.

Pay rose from 2 to 3 lakhs per year

MLAs currently receive up to Rs 2 lakh per month in total compensation, including salary, benefits, and allowances. After the plan is approved, it would be close to three lakhs each month.


Additionally, the MLA deputy secretaries now make more money. It has been suggested that the base pay for MLAs be raised from $40,000 to $60,000.


In addition to this, allowances have been raised. A suggestion to assign a personal worker to the former assembly members is also included.


Salary, benefits, and facilities will all rise in the same way
