Maheshwari is appointed president and CEO of Honeywell's High Growth Region Portfolio

Ben Driggs, who will assume another executive position in the business, will be replaced by him.

Anant Maheshwari will start serving as president and CEO of Honeywell's High Growth Region portfolio on September 4, 2023, the company said on Friday. Microsoft India's president at the time was Maheshwari.

Ben Driggs, who will assume another leadership position inside the organisation, will be replaced by him. Maheshwari will serve as a corporate executive for the organisation and be based in Dubai. She will answer directly to Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur.

"Honeywell has a history of growth in this portfolio over a lengthy period of time. Anant will support us in building on our track record of achievement, enhancing our capacity to propel profitable growth for the business, according to Kapur.

Anant has demonstrated through his experience over the past 20 years that he is capable of producing big results for a range of enterprises.

He is the best candidate to maintain our local-to-local presence and grow Honeywell's business in environmental sustainability software and technological advancement, and controls and automation.

Maheshwari will now oversee business development for Honeywell in China, India, Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

From 2004 through 2016, he held senior positions at Honeywell with escalating responsibilities for developing new businesses and managing established business portfolios. His eventual appointment as president of Honeywell India was a crucial component of the business's high growth area plan.

Maheshwari graduated as an industrial scholar with an MBA in 1998 through the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He earned a Master of Science in Economics as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the Birla Academy of Technology and Science in Pilani.

Driggs started working with Honeywell in 2004 and has held a number of executive roles within the aerospace division, including vice-president of strategic accounts and corporate development.

Ben Driggs has provided exceptional service to our portfolio of high growth regions, and I want to thank him for that, said Kapur. He delivered positive results for Honeywell and helped establish and maintain our record growth in these areas," noted Kapur. We look forward to seeing him take Honeywell's leadership to the next level.
