In Latehar, the Hindu Mahasabha and Bajrang Dal jointly sponsored the inter-block level Kanwar Jal Yatra, which was organised by Manasmani Deep Seva Sansthan Sarna Dham. With 20,000 kanwars, Baba's followers travelled 51 miles to the Sarnadham hamlet, which is near the Baresadh police station, and donated water to the Shivling there. The Kanwaris' security measures were stringent during this time.

With 20,000 kanwars, Baba's followers travelled 51 miles to Sarnadham, which is near the Baresad police station, to present water to the Shivling.

Bol Bam's audible cries resonated over the 51-kilometer length. At this time, plans were made for the Kavadis to rest and eat at several locations, including the villages of Lodh, Chatakpur, Hami, Durga Bari Mahuadand, IRB Camp Mahuadand, Rajdanda, Bohta, and CRPF Camp Banskarcha, among others.


In order to boost the Kavadis' excitement, preparations were devised to play music concurrently. Additionally, a free van was set up to transport all the kavadis.
