Vishnu Agarwal and Prem Prakash are being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on a regular basis about the land fraud case. Hemant Soren, the chief minister of Jharkhand, has also received the items from ED. On August 14, the ED contacted CM Hemant to question him about this. The Chief Minister's Office may ask the ED for a new date in such a case. However, the Chief Minister's Office has not yet provided the ED with any such information.

Prem Prakash, former Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, businessmen Amit Agarwal and Vishnu Agarwal, as well as Revenue Sub-Inspector Bhanu Pratap Prasad of Bargain Zone have all been detained by the ED, which is looking into the Ranchi land fraud case under the money laundering statute.
