Ranchi: The ED might be challenged in Supreme Court by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. They are consulting legal professionals for help in this situation. It is noteworthy that the ED has called Hemant Soren back in for interrogation on August 24. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be questioned by the agency over the assets owned by him and his family.


He had been contacted by the ED earlier on August 14 to be interviewed. The legitimacy of the ED's summons was then contested by him. He claimed that he was being harassed as a result of political rivalry in a letter written to the ED. If the ED would not remove the summons, the CM had threatened to take legal action.


Hemant also noted in the letter that he had provided the ED with comprehensive details of his moveable and immovable assets on November 30. Additionally, all of the bank's information was made accessible. They can be submitted again if ED's office loses these papers.
