 Jharkhand News: Youtuber from Garhwa arrested, derogatory language used against CM and cabinet

Garhwa: The Garhwa police have detained a young man on suspicion of posting and disseminating films on Facebook and YouTube that contained offensive and vile language directed against the Chief Minister, the Speaker of the State Assembly, ministers, and women.

Jasamuddin Sheikh, a native of Darmi village under the jurisdiction of Garhwa police station, is the father of Tipu Sultan Khan, alias Samar, who was arrested. Anjani Kumar Jha, the superintendent of police of Garhwa, provided this information during a news conference that was held at the Garhwa police station.


The arrested teenager is the host of the Bhaukal TV news channel, according to the police superintendent. He had posted and distributed films using the obscene and derogatory language against the Chief Minister, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Ministers, and ladies on YouTube, Facebook, and other online media platforms. Ratan Kumar Singh reported him to the Ranka police station in the district with a FIR.


In light of this, Santosh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters, led the police in the formation of a special action squad. Puani Praveen Kumar, Puani Suryaprakash Dubey, Inspector Krishan Kumar Sahu, and Puani Shankar Prasad Kushwaha are few more.


Including in the action team, it was discovered from the YouTube operator's photo that the news was broadcast under the name of Bhaukal TV after the investigation was complete. Tipu Sultan Khan, also known as Samar, lives in the Darmi hamlet, close to the Garhwa police station.


The cops then detained him. While the police are working to identify some of the witnesses in this case and bring charges against them.


In answer to a query, the Superintendent of Police stated that since caste-indicative language was used in the video, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act had been invoked. Santosh Kumar, the deputy superintendent of police for headquarters, Inspector Krishna Prasad Sahu, and others attended the news conference.
