In the future, India should establish its own standards rather than relying on the EU and the US, says MoS IT
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Information Technology, has stated that rather than stealing technological advances form the United States or the European Union, India should work to establish its own standards.
The minister referred to the recently-approved Digital Personal Data Protection Act, that were in Bengaluru on Saturday (12 August), as "a world-class legislation" at a meeting with students, startups, and notable individuals.
