Himachal Pradesh weather: A couple perished in a landslip in Shimla's Baldeya after the region's recent severe rainfall. A guy who was buried in the collapse of a cowshed in Seraj also passed away. In the Seraj Assembly, a total of 10 persons have gone missing to date.

According to the source, a migrant couple was killed in a significant landslip in the Shimla village of Shol (Baldeyan) and was buried under the rubble. Near the village's land slide site, SHO Dhali, in-charge PP Mashobra, and the police squad discovered the remains of a husband and woman. At the contractor's building site, the pair was a labouring team. According to the police, both were Gumla, Jharkhand, residents.

Three corpses have so far been found.

A red alert has been issued for Wednesday in Sirmaur, Solan, Shimla Bilaspur, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, according to the Shimla Centre of the Meteorological Department. On Thursday, there will be an orange warning in seven districts across the state. Maximum precipitation of 213 mm has been reported in Bilaspur over the last 12 hours. Following this, 132 mm of rain were recorded in Shimla. In one hour in the morning, 62 mm of rain were recorded in Shimla. It is raining hard in Northern India as a result of the Western Disturbance and an active Monsoon; this is having an impact on Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab.
