Dhanbad. At the Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Medical College and Hospital in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, rainwater collection and water treatment systems will be installed. The hospital management has now started to take key matters seriously.

Dr. Anil Kumar, the newly appointed superintendent, visited the hospital's grounds and gathered information. The hospital will shortly begin working on both of these items, according to the superintendent.

The administrators of Headquarters Ranchi have also been informed of both of these recommendations. You may be aware that the administration of the largest hospital in the district became active when news about the absence of a rain harvesting system in the hospital was publicised as part of a Dainik Jagran campaign.

We'll save hundreds of litres of water

There is a location for rainwater collection under the hospital's OPD building. A separate tank might be built here, according to the superintendent. Here, rainwater will be gathered.

A location was also detected at the same time near to the water treatment facility. In the back of the hospital, there is still a large amount of land. Here, water treatment facilities will be built.

Here, waste water from toilets, sinks, and other locations will be treated using a variety of methods. After that, you may reuse this water in the bathroom.

There won't be any water buildup in the surgical sector

The surgical department's lower floor location causes water to collect there during heavy downpours, according to the superintendent, but this scenario won't exist after the water treatment plant is constructed.

Additionally, the water from the emergency side will be sent to the treatment facility. The team of representatives from the Building Division Department will shortly visit the hospital to discuss this.
