A 24-year-old man drowned at the Munidih Bhatinda Fall in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, after falling into deep water. The young person has been recognised as Gaya, Bihar, resident Akash Kumar. Around 1:30 pm on Sunday, the event happened. The Munidih OP in-charge arrived at the scene as soon as information about the occurrence was received, and with the aid of neighbourhood divers, removed the young man's lifeless corpse.




Putki Dhanbad: In Dhanbad, Jharkhand, a 24-year-old man drowned in deep water near Munidih Bhatinda Fall. Akash Kumar, a local, has been recognised as the young person. Along with Akash, Sonu Kumar Rai (17) and Pravesh Kumar (10) travelled to Bathinda. Around 1:30 pm on Sunday, the event happened.


Salo Hembram, the Munidih OP in-charge, arrived to the scene after learning of the event and asked nearby divers to save Akash. Around 4.30 pm, a group of neighbourhood divers pulled the body from the water, and it was then transported to Dhanbad for a post-mortem.


From Bihar, Akash's family members also departed for Dhanbad. Akash had taken several pictures and videos of the bath using his phone before the tragedy.

Sonu, who accompanied Akash during the event, stated that the three of us went for a trip on Akash's bike at one in the afternoon. Akash also came down to have a bath when I finished. Pravesh captured this on camera and in a video. He requested that I take a dip and come up when I asked him to.


He entered deep water in the interim and began making rescue calls. I dove in to try to save him when I heard his voice, but he quickly fell into extremely deep water despite my best efforts. After a considerable amount of time, the local chief Ramesh Kumar Singh saved me and transported me to safety.


Akash was enrolled at ITI

The dead teenager with the last year, Akash has been living with Jitendra Paswan, a worker with BCCL, in his Baludih Colony while pursuing an ITI from Jamadoba. Dayanand Kumar, the father of Akash, resides in Gaya. He is one of three boys and a daughter. The family members are in distress after the occurrence and are sobbing.
