 After Chhattisgarh, ED is currently looking into a liquor fraud in Jharkhand as well, with wires leading to Greater Noida in the United States


The ED has now begun looking into the liquor scam in Jharkhand in addition to the Rs 1200 crore liquor scam case in Chhattisgarh. At the Kasna police station in Greater Noida, the ED has filed a FIR against five individuals, including Vidhu Gupta, managing director of M/s Prism Holography Security Films Pvt Ltd, a provider of holograms.




Ranchi: The ED has begun looking into the liquor scam in Jharkhand in addition to the Rs 1200 crore liquor scam case currently under investigation in Chhattisgarh.


At the Kasna police station in Greater Noida, the ED has filed a FIR against five individuals, including Vidhu Gupta, the managing director of M/s Prism Holography, Security Films Pvt Ltd, a provider of holograms.


Who's Who Other suspects include Arun Pati Tripathi, Niranjan Das, Commissioner Anil Tuteja, and Anwar Dhewar from the Chhattisgarh Excise Department.


In the FIR, the ED fully described the fraud and claimed that the holograms were copied and sent to several states. This also includes Jharkhand.


An investigation into this incident has begun. It was said that the business in question printed 800 million holograms during the course of the previous five years.


The new regulation allowed for the sale of alcohol

Beginning in May 2022, Jharkhand will also sell alcohol using the Chhattisgarh model. Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited, AP Tripathi, was chosen to serve as an advisor for one of them.


The task of printing holograms on spirits bottles was given to Prism Hologram and Film Security Limited at the same time. Similar to that, M/s Sumit Facilities Limited was charged with providing labour. In the liquor scandal in Chhattisgarh, all three are charged. During the course of the inquiry against them, Jharkhand's link has been established.


Each of the three Jharkhand enterprises has been subject to action

All three of the Jharkhand-based enterprises have been subject to action. It is forbidden to print holograms on M/s Prism. It is on a prohibited list.


However, because M/s Sumit Facilities was unable to reach the required income, their bank guarantee was forfeited. The warning has been updated to no longer include Chhattisgarh State Corporation.
