Union Minister Arjun Munda stated that a new chapter in the history of Indian Railways is beginning today. According to him, the idea of Amrit Bharat station is linked to the determination to meet the hopes and expectations of 140 crore citizens.




Kharsawan: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lay the cornerstone for the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which would rehabilitate 508 railway stations throughout the nation, including Rajkharsawan. In a ceremony to lay the cornerstone at Rajkharsawan High School, Union Secretary Arjun Munda, MLA Dashrath Gagarai, DRM Arjun Rathod, ADRM Vinay Kujur, Padmashree Chhutni Mahato, and Meera Munda revealed the plaque.


Union Minister Arjun Munda stated that a new chapter in the history of Indian Railways is beginning today. According to him, the idea of Amrit Bharat station is also linked to the determination to meet the hopes and expectations of 140 crore citizens.


Arjun Munda sang ballads in the prime minister's honour

Munda praised PM Modi and said that under his direction, work is being done to upgrade all of the nation's train stations to the most modern standards. On this occasion, Arjun Munda also paid tribute to two people who were instrumental in the construction of Rajkharsawan railway station: labour activist Divya Mohanty and former state legislator Devi Lal Matisoy.


These stations will exhibit local art, architecture, and historical legacy following reconstruction. Additionally, One Station One Product will be used to advertise regional goods.


A rail flywheel project has been proposed at Seeni's workshop

According to Union Minister Arjun Munda, Jharkhand is the site of Indian Railways projects worth Rs. 40,073 crore. The Centre has allocated Rs 5271 crore for 2023–2024. Under the Amrit Bharat initiative, 20 stations throughout the state, including Rajkharsawan, would be renovated. Additional proposals include for the renovation of 57 stations, including Sini.


Additionally, Sini Railway Station will be renovated

According to the BJP leader, Sini Railway Station would also undergo renovation in the near future. Until recently, foreign manufacturers produced the railway wheels. Make in India is now being marketed. The creation of a rail flywheel in the Seeni workshop is envisaged. Work on this is anticipated to begin soon.


He said that under PM Modi's direction, the Indian Railways are being modernised and made more environmentally friendly.


MLA Dashrath Gagarai addressed the audience and remarked that the ancient Rajkharsawan railway station structure held special memories for him as well. His mother Nagi Gagarai and mother-in-law Late Mukta Bodra participated in the building of the station as labourers.


Gagarai claimed that upgrading Rajkharsawan railway station to a world-class facility is what we like doing. He expressed gratitude to the federal government for renovating Rajkharsawan Railway Station.


Along with this, it was required of Union Minister Arjun Munda to add an extra carriage to the CKP-Tata Savari local train and to revive the trains that haven't run since the Corona era.


Dance music was used by artists to get married

Schoolchildren delighted the occasion throughout the programme by performing Bharat Natyam and Bihu dance. In addition to this, numerous musicians performed the Desh Bhakti song Loverez. DRM Arjun Jatoh Rathod highlighted the accomplishments of the CKP Railway Division during his remarks of welcome.
