Dushanbe: The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reports that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 occurred on Wednesday in Tajikistan.

According to NCS, the earthquake's depth was 95 kilometres.
"Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.2, Occurred on 16-08-2023, 02:56:11 IST, Lat: 37.32 & Long: 72.12, Depth: 95 Km, Location: Tajikistan," NCS reported on Twitter.
More information is awaited.
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Tajikistan earlier in May.
The earthquake's depth was measured at 50 kilometres.
