A group of about 50 people steals goods worth up to $100,000 from a store in Los Angeles

At a shop in Los Angeles, several thieves carried out a smash-and-grab attack and made off with thousands of dollars' worth of goods.

At least 50 robbers carried out a daring smash-and-grab heist at a Los Angeles Nordstrom department store. They pulled off the audacious theft and made off with goods valued at about $100,000. The rowdy group of crooks attacked the security personnel while wearing masks and hoodies and bear spray.

The premium business inside the Topanga Mall was the target of the crooks, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, on Saturday about 4 o'clock. Before quickly seizing pricey bags and apparel, they made their way to the exits.

The flash mob behaved violently, according to Commander Gisselle Espinoza of the Los Angeles Police Department, and investigators are doing their best to track down the robbers.

A luxury Nordstrom store in Los Angeles, California's WestField Topanga Shopping Centre was attacked by a group of no fewer than 30 people, with an estimated $100,000 in damages.

In order to identify these individuals, we are conducting interviews and looking for leads and investigative techniques. The Los Angeles Times was told by Ms. Espinoza that "they are savages."

The New York Post said that video from the scene showed the commotion inside the store as the criminals ransacked display cases while swerving between aisles. The thieves threw over mannequins and shelves before quickly snatching whatever they could carry as helpless store staff watched.

The police agency said that the robbers used several automobiles, including a Lexus and a BMW, to get away.

"To criminals, it is just property implemented," the Los Angeles Police Department stated in a statement. "It is a loss of feeling safe to those whose live in the area and visit the Topanga Mall."

"The LAPD will use all available means to apprehend those accountable and pursue criminal prosecution."
