According to reports, the incident happened late on Monday, around 7:00 pm, while travelling to the Tumbahaka and Sarjamburu under Tonto police station.


Jharkhand Jaguar lost two soldiers in an engagement

After the encounter, the issue of the five missing jawans was also coming to light, however at about midnight, three jawans were found to be in good condition. While two Jharkhand Jaguar soldiers were discovered dead.


The first of them is a Jharkhand Jaguar SI, while the second is a constable. Amit Tiwari, a Sub Inspector from the 2012 batch, and Gautam Kumar, a Havaldar, are the names of the fallen jawans. The incident resulted in seven to eight gunshot wounds for the SI and two to three for the policeman. Palamu was home to Martyr SI. Three days prior, he had given birth to a boy, and he was getting ready to go for home when the Naxalite operation was through.


The lifeless corpses of both slain troops will be flown to Ranchi as preparations are being made. In order to clear the route from Tumbahaka to Sarjamburu within the jurisdiction of Tonto police station, CRPF and Jharkhand Jaguar teams have been stationed in the region.
