The incident happened near University Police Station's Windsor Hill Road section. There was uproar from Gwalior to Bhopal following the event where the collector's wife's chain was stolen. Currently serving as the collector for Khargone is Shivraj Verma, a former ADM in Gwalior. Living in Gwalior is his family. According to the source, Pushpa Verma, his wife, walks regularly in the morning near Windsor Road. Around six in the morning, a thief appeared from behind Pushpa Verma as she travelled through the street close to Collectorate Hill. His other accomplice followed behind him as he escaped on a bike after snatching the chain from Pushpa Verma's neck.


There was a commotion from Bhopal to Gwalior

Following the incident, Pushpa Singh provided her husband, Collector Shivraj Verma, with full details. A complaint was then made to the campus police department. Two unidentified criminals are the subject of a robbery case that the University Police Station has filed.
