The BJP lost two seats in Jharkhand, hired two ministers, and Amit Shah is personally overseeing the situation

Winning five tribal restricted seats is a difficult feat for the BJP; two additional seats, Khunti and Lohardaga, were also won by the party with a very slim margin.

Rajmahal and Chaibasa, two significant tribal seats in Jharkhand, were lost by the BJP in the most recent Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Both of them are tribally dominant places in addition to being ST seats. How did the BJP win both of these seats? The BJP high command has devoted all of its resources to this. The BJP will pay particular attention to both Jharkhand seats.

For this, the national level itself has devised a roadmap for the election strategy. Top BJP officials are also a part of this committee, which includes National General Secretary Vinod Pavde. This team will oversee the whole election plan, and a group of vulnerable Lok Sabha seats has also been constituted. The BJP has appointed Union Minister Renuka Singh to the Chaibasa seat and Union Minister of State Rao Saheb Danve to the Rajmahal seat. While also keeping an eye on both seats is Amit Shah.

Following are the outcomes of the previous two Lok Sabha elections:

Rajmahal's parliamentary seat in the year 2019

Name - Number of votes cast

5,07,830 Vijay Hansda (JMM)

4.08.635 votes for Hemlal Murmu (BJP).

2014

Name - Number of votes cast

3,79,507 Vijay Hansda (JMM)

3.38.170 votes for Hemlal Murmu (BJP).

In this Lok Sabha, UPA currently controls five of the six Vidhansabhas.

Five of the six Vidhan Sabhas under this Lok Sabha are held by the UPA. JMM possesses Pakur-Congress, Littipada, Barhait, Borio, and Maheshpur. Rajmahal, which has one seat, is a BJP member.

Parliamentary Constituency of 2019-Chaibasa

Name - Number of votes cast

-4,31,815 Geeta Koda (INC)

3,59,660 Laxman Gilua (BJP)

2014

Name - Number of votes cast

-3,03,131 Laxman Gilua (BJP)

2.15.609 Geeta Koda (JBSP)

This time, there is a lot of talk about the Koda couple joining the BJP. However, Madhu Koda has categorically rejected this debate.

In the midst of controversy, the BJP narrowly defeated the opposition to win the Khunti parliamentary seat.

Another significant seat was involved in this. Everyone is aware of the BJP's close call in the Khunti parliamentary seat. Up until late at night, this seat was the scene of a high-stakes drama. The margin of victory in the Khunti seat was 0%. The same situation happened in Lohardaga, where the BJP won by a margin of 1%. The margin remained barely 4% in Dumka as well. That implies it will be extremely difficult to win the five tribally reserved seats in Jharkhand in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
