According to Buldhana Deputy SP Baburao Mahamuni, a bus carrying 32 passengers caught fire on the Samridhi Mahamarg Motorway in Buldhana, resulting in at least 26 fatalities and numerous injuries. For medical attention, the injured have been taken to Buldhana Civil Hospital. This incident occurred on Saturday about two in the morning. All of the passengers were reportedly dozing off when the tragedy occurred. People in the bus were unable to exit owing to sleepiness and a sudden fire, which led to 26 deaths from burns.


Sunil Adasane, the SP for Buldhana, then disclosed to the media that the terrible accident occurred at 1.25 p.m. tonight. The bus that was involved in the tragedy was headed for Pune. There were 33 passengers in all on this vehicle. According to the police, the private bus was travelling from Nagpur to Pune when it struck a pole in the village of Pimpalkhuta at around 1.30 am, after which it struck a divider. The result was that the bus toppled over and caught fire. According to a representative, there were 33 passengers on the bus, and the eight survivors were taken to a local hospital. According to the official, many of the passengers were from Yavatmal, Wardha, and Nagpur.
