2023 Kanwar Yatra Numerous followers of Shiva across the nation have embarked on the Kanwar Yatra during the auspicious month of Sawan. This Kanwar celebration is now observed in international nations as well. The Kanwar Yatra has begun for the Bihar-Jharkhand residents in Tokyo, the Japanese capital. Tokyo, Japan, is home to over 250 families from Bihar and Jharkhand. On his behalf, the Bihar-Jharkhand Association was established.

This Kanwar celebration is now observed in international nations as well. The Kanwar Yatra has begun for the Bihar-Jharkhand residents who reside in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.


A pandit from South India performed rites, and everyone who brought kanwar performed Rudrabhishekam to Lord Shiva. Around 50 individuals arrived at Sai Tama Shiva Temple, 90 kilometres from Tokyo, bearing homemade kanwar and Ganga water that they had purchased in Sultanganj.


The Japanese Bihar Jharkhand Association initiated

Bihar native and software developer Amit Kumar works for the Mercury Company in Japan. In the High Court, his father Mithilesh Kumar served as a protocol officer. Amit Kumar informed Dainik Jagran over the phone that around 250 families from Bihar and Jharkhand reside in Tokyo, the nation's capital. On his behalf, the Bihar-Jharkhand Association was established.


The foundation manages the organisation of every festival. The Foundation's backing from the Bihar government is what makes it unique. In an effort to promote culture on the occasion of the Kanwar Yatra, greetings have also been conveyed on behalf of Governor Rajendra Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar.


The Kanwar Yatra's sole goal is to preserve our religious beliefs and art tradition while we live in a foreign nation. Kanwar Yatra will also be promoted globally after Chhath Puja.


The trek was made after Kanwar was worshipped in the ISKCON temple

At the ISKCON temple in Funabori, Tokyo, the VCC hall hosted the programme before to the Kanwar Yatra. Everyone created and adorned the Kanwar with their own hands 15 days prior to the yatra, according to Amit Kumar, a participant in the Kanwar Yatra. Following that, Gangajal was carried from Sultanganj and distributed to all Kanwaris.


At 8.30 am, the yatra was launched following the proper worship of Kanwar at the ISKCON temple. 50 Kanwariyas took part in the yatra, which was traditionally opened by India's ambassador, CB George. He claimed that Bihar-Jharkhand migrants should be commended for spreading their culture outside of India.


They all travelled five kilometres on foot before taking a bus 90 km to the Shiv temple in Saitam, where they conducted Jalabhishek. People from Bangladesh and Nepal erected the aforementioned temple. The event featured significant contributions from Anand Vijay, Vikas Ranjan, Dilip Sinha, Mukesh Gupta, Vinod Kumar, Ravindra Kumar, Utsav Singh, Shivani, Isha, and Aparajita.
