Ranchi. On Friday, District Transport Officer Praveen Kumar Prakash launched an investigation into school buses. 79 buses in all were examined as part of the initiative in the Harmu neighborhood's Sahajanand Chowk. which automobiles weren't deemed appropriate.


Investigations revealed that several school cars' tax, fitness, insurance, and pollution certifications were out of current. Additionally, several of the drivers of the vehicles lacked licences, and the driver and co-driver were not wearing uniforms.


Due to the fact that school buses carried children during the inquiry campaign, District Transport Officer Praveen Prakash issued stringent directions to the vehicle owners and the school administration to maintain all relevant paperwork current. The officials issued a warning that automobiles that disregarded safety regulations may be impounded at any moment.


Many vehicle owners took advantage of the government's earlier decision to exempt the tax on buses in Kovid-19, and as a result, they are currently not depositing the vehicle toll. All such vehicle owners and school administration have been given instructions by District Transport Officer Praveen Prakash to maintain the tax and documentation of school buses up to date.


If the taxes and documentation for the school cars are not updated, the district transport officer warned that harsh action will be taken against the school administration.

Minor children frequently utilise two-wheelers to get to and from school, as is common. The District Transport Officer has asked the parents of the youngsters to forbid them from letting their younger children use two-wheelers without a licence.


He has asked the administration of the school to forbid small children from riding two-wheelers to school. Inform them that if a minor kid is caught operating a car, the guardian will be subject to punishment and a fine.


District Transport Officer had already issued a warning

It may be noted that District Transport Officer Praveen Kumar Prakash instructed all school administration and the proprietors of private buses run by the school to keep all vehicle-related paperwork up to date, but this instruction is not being carried out. This was after verifying in the past. The owner of the school buses whose documentation were not found to be updated and the management of the school have both been notified.
