News from Ranchi: Mourning procession, glimpses of Jang-e-Karbala visible on the streets of the city's capital
Muharram After every Karbala, the capital's streets were filled with shouts like "Islam is alive." Salutations to the splendour of Karbala in the millions... Along with other akhadas, the procession of Dhawatal Imam Bakhsh and Leelu Akhara arrived at the main Imambara through the Urdu Library, Shraddhanand Road, and Mahavir Chowk.
On Muharram, Ranchi had a peek of Jang-e-Karbala on the city's streets. On Saturday, Muharram was observed in remembrance of Imam-e-Hussain's martyrdom. A Tajiya parade was led by Akhara owners from various regions.

A big number of people joined a condolence parade that was led by several akhadaharis at 11 o'clock in the capital. Albert Ekka Chowk was reached by all the procession. There were hints of fraternity and patriotism. From several akhadas, a procession carrying the tricolour flag was formed.

These akhadas were honoured there. Following this, the procession moved to Karbala, which is located at Karbala Chowk, the site of Fatiha. On the other side, the Shia community organised a funeral march. At 1 pm, the Shia community's procession departed from the Masjid-e-Jafriya in Ansar Nagar. The march came to an end after travelling down Church Road, Taxi Stand, Urdu Library, and Fatehullah Road to the Karbala Chowk Imambara.
