 Money Laundering Cases: Four people, including IAS Pooja Singhal, have had their custody extended; the next hearing is on August 4

Four defendants, including suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, who are being treated at RIMS in connection with a money laundering case, have had their judicial custody extended by the ED court. Except for Pooja Singhal, the other defendants in the case—Suman Kumar, engineer Shashi Prakash, and Ram Binod Prasad Sinha—appeared in court through video conference from their respective prisons. The next appearance date has been set by the court on August 4.

Four people, including suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal who is receiving treatment at RIMS and is an alleged money launderer, have had their judicial custody extended by the Ranchi ED court. Except for Pooja Singhal, the other defendants in the case—Suman Kumar, Engineer Shashi Prakash, and Ram Binod Prasad Sinha—appeared in court via video conference from their respective prisons. The next appearance date has been set by the court on August 4. After the case is framed, the ED will submit evidence.
