Manoharpur: A drinking water shortage is troubling the residents of Pachpaheya
Manoharpur (Ajay Singh): In the Laylor Panchayat of the Manoharpur block, Pachpaheya Mahato Tola, contains the sole solar water tower. It has been dormant for the last month. The serious drinking water situation is troubling the local inhabitants. About 80 households, according to locals, reside in Pachpahi Mahato Tola. In such a big city, there is just one government hand pump. For the past month, that has also been horrible.
Even when the people begged for the repair of the stated hand, the responsible department has not been corrected. The people are forced to utilise Pokhara's and the old, decaying wells' unclean water as a result. The folks who are having trouble with drinking water are quite resentful of one another. After learning of this, Minister Joba Manjhi gave the people an assurance that the damaged firearm would be fixed in a day or two, which gave the residents cause for optimism.
