On Monday night at about 7:30 o'clock, the event happened close to Sarna School in the Patratu police station neighbourhood. There were two Aman Sahu gang members riding the bike. They began shooting ferociously as soon as the ATS squad attempted to encircle them. In this, DSP Neeraj's stomach was shot in the thigh of policeman Sonu Kumar Sahu.

Medica Hospital accepted DSP as a patient

Sonu Kumar was transferred to Ranchi after receiving first aid at Max Care Hospital in Patratu, while DSP has been taken to Medica Hospital Ranchi for emergency treatment. Two Aman Sahu gang gunmen have been taken into custody by the ATS squad. Nevertheless, the cops won't confirm it. A hollow has been found by police at the location of the occurrence. There were five recorded rounds of shooting in all.

The crew had arrived to apprehend the Aman Gang offenders

To apprehend further offenders, including Babi Khan of the Aman gang, the ATS squad travelled to Patratu. After learning about the event, the Patratu SDPO, Ranchi ATS team, and many police officials began looking into it. During the course of the inquiry, police constable Ravi Oraon was struck by a speeding bike and suffered significant injuries. A young man who was seated behind the bike also sustained injuries.

The incidence was confirmed by Ramgarh SP

Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey confirmed the event and stated that Ranchi ATS and Ramgarh police were conducting a combined raid operation based on intelligence that the Aman Sahu gang's culprits were present in Patratu. The crooks assaulted the cops in the meanwhile.

A DSP and a sub-inspector were shot during this shooting. The fact that neither is in danger is a cause for relief. For better care, both have been transported to Ranchi. SP Piyush Pandey arrived at the location late at night.
